Just two days ago, I came up this new anime television series called CANAAN, and it totally blew me away with its anime style and storytelling.....and I hope it continues with other episodes following.

Created by Kinoko Nasu and Takashi Takeuchi, written by Mari Okada (Vampire Knight and True Tears) and directed by Masahiro Ando (Sword of the Stranger).

It follows the exploits of a hired assassin called Canaan, who possesses Synesthesia (hey, jut like me...damn) and situates herself in environment where corporation experiments with individuals.....some people who cannot bear to see the real world hide behind mask and where those who live in the real world perceive it as it is, when wrong, destruction and death goes unseen and those who can see it.......are deemed dangerous.

I don't know about you guys but I found it pretty funny they cast an actual porn star in the anime and hired someone else to voice her.

Edit: Looks like an exciting new series. It's a shame I don't have the time I used to now.

I'm glad someone posted about this. I've gotten sucked in as well ... interesting story and good visuals. I've added it to my list of things to watch.
