The top CD on Takaki's table looks like it says

LDE PERIYE

There is a musician with the last name Periye .. looks middle eastern perhaps ... anyone familiar with this?

Hmmmmm ... that is some interesting music. Maybe Shinkai is in to that kind of thing.
