I have a collection of different youtube videos of all of the "other" Shinkai animations on my anime blog. I also added a link to this forum, so maybe the few readers I have might come by... Wink

In any case, the link to these forums was way over due.

The only one I skipped in that link was Shinkai's recent "Neko no Shuukai", but I had that video available on this blog post.

yes, shinkai did the latter tale trailer (its the Opening video as far as i know as well) and tenmon did the music, correct me if im wrong but shinkai used to work for minori and did wind: a breath of heart as well.

have a link to a high definition translated version i found while hunting for a fan translation of the game.

Thanks, the_emh, I've fixed my first link. Also some of the youtube videos in that post might be down; I'll probably go through that post again to replace any dead videos.

i think that as far as animation quality goes that is one of the best things shinkai has done. when i first watched it i didnt know it was directed by him. i saw the clouds and went "HAY I KNOW THAT CLOUD!!!!" then saw both tenmon and shinkai in the credits and went to get the HD version Razz

im assuming that most people have seen the ads done by his staff for a construction company but here is a link anyways.

Ok guys... i just found another EF trailer directed my Mr shinkai.
this is the best trailer i have ever seen in terms of animation quality / direction.

I had never seen that mentioned on any shinkai site so i hope you have not seen it and like it.

turns out Minori (the company responsible for EF and other romance games) is ( or was, im fuzzy on that part) actually a branch of co-wave-mix. which explains why Mr shinkai is involved in all the OPs for these games. interestingly Minori have another game coming out this year. we all know what that means dont we? another pretty intro directed by Mr shinkai is coming soon Very Happy

I love this video, it's simply amazing in terms of direction. I don't know how often I watched it when I found it the first time, but I couldn't stop.

that vid really is great, especially the bit with yuuko coming down the steps.

BTW guys im working on making a "definitive" makoto shinkai package with all of his works / things he has been involved in making in it, with the exception of his movies because of copyright ECT.
im about 1/2 of the way ATM and will upload it here when im done. so far the only thing i cant find is Kakomareta Sekai (Enclosed World)
