- When you try to figure out Noboru and Mikako's time and distance instead of trying to figure out question 12 in maths class.

- When you do a perfect sketch of Chobi instead of continuing your major art work.

- When you hum to One more time One more chance instead of playing the piano in music class.

- Whenever you hear someone say "5 Centimeters", your heart thumps and you listen intently.

- You use a Shinkai-related avatar on other forums and try and spread the love Very Happy

- You want to learn Japanese so you can understand the movies without subs
- You argue with reason and are convinced that a cat like Chobi has to exist somewhere in the world (one that can also talk!)
- You desperately want to snatch Takaki-kun from Akari and keep him for yourself, mwhahaha! Oh... wait, that would probably apply just for me Very Happy

- When you hear a jet flying overhead and look up to see if it's the Bela Ciela.

- When shopping for a cell phone, you look for the same model as Mikako's (even checking the specs to see if it has the same range).

I believe there are technology which exists that can do that. But the signals and messages will take time to travel across space.

I have searched and searched but can't find the type of mobile phone used by Mikako and Noboru on sale anywhere. But here's the interesting part: it's 2047, and they're using a phone design from the 1990's. Is that retro for you, or what?
