Now I'm not sure exacly what it was but I belive my very first game was a flight simulator my dad bought for me and I loved it. I also remeber playing this star wars flight simulartor called "X-Wing" for hours and hours when I was alot younger. I think I should get that game some time to play with it...

Good thread My first video console was an atari 5200 which had much better graphics than the 2600. I had a few games like Joust, Pac Man, Dig Dug, that looked just like the stand up cabinet games ... ahhh the good old days ha ha ha ...
Before video games we had to pass the time playing Dungeons and Dragons ha ha ha ...

I think it was one of the Mario games. I used to be scared of all the enemies running around there and I'd jump on any trashcan close by to get out of their way XD My first 3D game was Tomb Raider 2, to this day still one of my fave games ever. _________________ Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most. |

| Back when my older brother first went into the navy (late 1970s), we would go to the New Orleans airport to pick him up or send him off. There was a Pong machine in the waiting area that me and my other brother wasted a bunch of quarters on. I never got very good at it, but that was my first experience. |

| My memory is vague but I believe my first video games I ever played were Pac Man and Dig Dug. I still remember how fun they were back then and that was less than 10 years ago. |

Holy crap one of my first was X-Wing too! That game was so good!
I remember playing the windows best of entertainment package too - like Chip's Challenge and Ski Free - you know, the classics
My dad also had this Commodore 64 I used to play before we got a computer. It played games off cassette tapes and I still don't know how that even works. Commando was the best game by far. Anyone else ever played one of these bad boys? _________________ There are certain moments where some people should just be left unknown. |

The commodore 64 ... awesome. My friend had one of those. It's funny to think that the computing power on those lunar landers was probably less than what we had in early gaming systems
My cousin had one of the original pong consoles which was just a keyboard shaped console with two twisty dials and maybe a button or two. It was the greatest thing ever ... ahhh .. so old ha ha

| My first game that I played were the games that we had on the Atari 2600. I can't remember exactly which was my first, but the ones I do remember playing are Centipede, Asteroids, Frogger, Pole Position, Pac Man, and Missile Command. |

Anyone remember when the good old Game Boys were "hip" back in the days?
I've just found myself addicted to Fire Emblem on GBA again, more for the actual story and characterisation than the gameplay. It's a great little game and I believe it has found a place comfortably next to classic Tetris in my favorite games.
