I talked with Sai a little about this this afternoon and he was very apologetic about this (not that he needs to be). He said that the network in question is a Government run network and that the show stinks Smile

He said that the otakus there don't like that network at all.

He was more upset with the China vs. Japan flame war that was going on on 2ch about this. Yikes.

At least to hinkai this is just another notch in his belt as to how great his works are, if another network has taken to copying his work wholesale.
