Well ... after a quick look at this list .. the only thing I think I'd be interested in seeing is the Nodome Cantabile anime ... maybe Durarara ... maybe the Gainax anime just because it's Gainax.
Are there are anime series that you're looking forward to?

I haven't watched any Nodame yet. I only read the first volume of the manga. I'll have to start on that one soon. The other series don't sound too interesting to me.
I just wish there were more new series with little or no fan-service. Don't get me wrong, I like looking at some things every now and then. But I just hate being bombarded with it constantly in almost every new series. I realize they're just trying to make money, but we really need a break every once in a while. _________________ Remember Fu-chan!
Nothing seems to stand out to me for now, but that's usually the case for each upcoming season. I usually end up hearing about the good stuff as each season goes through from others I trust and pick it up late. Plus that gives me a nice number of episodes to marathon through, too...
I might check out a few first episodes when they come out to try them out if I have some free spots (which is what I ended up doing this previous season) and stick with the ones that look promising.
As for fanservice? I usually don't mind it (and heck enjoy it). There's always hentai if I really wish to see stuff anyways... I just hope there's more interesting substance than just fanservice otherwise.
Ok, just checked out Sora no Woto episode 1 and so far it's holding my interest. I just twittered it as "K-On goes to war with trumpets and bugles", but the feel of the series feels very laid back (other people are comparing the manga it's based on to Aria, which I never saw much of but heard much of its pacing). I'm also getting a bit of a Haibane Renmei vibe from it too, but hopefully further episodes will keep me interested. It's off to a very good start though.
Also watching Sora no Woto. Up to Ep. #3. I kind of like it. And though I may be the only person who hasn't watched K-On, I can see the character resemblances. Noel keeps reminding me of Yuki Nagato. _________________ Remember Fu-chan!

I had found this image that might describe it. Or amuse...
And further amusement, someone on 4chan described Sora no Woto as:
Quote:
Japanese girls wearing German uniforms exploring a Japanese music school in a Spanish town full of French people celebrating Chinese New Years in Switzerland, shooting South African owls with German rifles while piloting multi legged, talking, demon slaying, cloakable, AMAZING GRACE SINGING, 500mm coil gun firing "son of the god of fire" supertanks from the future.

Yeah, mostly amuse:
I've heard that some are calling it "K-On Witches." I could revise it to include the cast of Aria, but I don't have the right software now. But from the top down...
#1 = Akari
#2 = Akira
#3 = Alicia
#4 = Aika
#5 = Alice + Athena
If you've watched Aria, you'll see what I'm talking about. Still, I'm beginning to enjoy the series more anyway.
