Contest - July 08 - Best PostWell ... it's almost the end of August and I'm just getting to the July Posts now Sorry ... it's been a busy Summer. I'm going to break with the voting for this month and just pick the Posts that really stood out the most.
I want to thank you all for participating on this Forum ... without you this place would be pretty empty and not a lot of fun

So are we doing voting or not? And with voting I don't think I quite get how it works... Do you give out points to whoever, and then people vote on the people you've nominated? And whoever gets the most votes gets another point? And that happens every month, and whoever has the most points at the end of six months gets a prize? Hope that's right... |

Yeah ...I was about a half a month behind so I just went with the non-voting system. If you prefer things that way ...I'm cool with that
What gets my attention are .. 1. Posts that pose a question to the group. You guys some up with some great thoughts and ideas on Shinkai's works and all sorts of things. I love to come to the forums and see those types of posts
2. Posts which took a great deal of though. The posts on the analysis of the music or someone's personal insight into something. 3. Creativity - Art work or stories or movies. Any cool idea ... like man.exe's idea for his version of Music for She and her Cat
It's getting harder to judge since we've got a lot of folks who provide all of these things and more in their posts. I love that kind of problem ha ha
I've already given out about $75 in Amazon gift certificates for the first half of 2008. Has anyone used those yet on something cool from Amazon? Laz |
