I know to some degree that most forums do not recieve much replies on any given day and it is even less for people posting in the introductions threads, however I thought I would introduce myself anyway by saying that I am a freelance journalist from Sydney Australia and my pen-name is Quas Farroway.

To short my introduction, I like a fair amount of anime (such as Card Captors) but the main shows I like in the genre are those that make you think, to reflect, like 'Voices of a Distant Star', 'Patlabor' and the less well-known 'Haibane-Renmei'

I would say that of Makoto's works, 'She and Her Cat' is my favourite. My introcuction is long enough as it is to go into detail as to why - sorry about that!

We're still here. The forum participation rises and falls a bit. We had a big spike with the Global Shinkai Day earlier this year. Seems we've fallen into a bit of a lull. We're starting planning for next years GSD so hopefully we'll get things ramped up again.
