It is mostly just refered to as 'Robotech' here in Australia and not 'Macross' or any of the subsequent titles, and although it wasn't my first love. I do not much care for some of the later editions, more sticking with the three original stories, where the character interactions meant more than just the senseless explosions and fight scenes that have sprung up lately (Shadow Chronicles is a prime example).

But I suppose I just have a soft spot of Minmei and how she never really got what she really wanted (bloody Lisa!)
