| AT, you live in Tampines? Thats weird when it's a 15 min drive from my place... Seems like you cover most of everything. Orchard is not bad if you want nightlife, Nick. The public transportation is quite efficient too and it's cheaper then taxi. |

Yep Tampines. Hello fellow Singaporean  Nick, will think of more local stuff for you to do... like eating durians, tropical fruits etc.

Yes, but it'll be in Winter, so (and this is possibly the girlyest thing I've ever said) I'll miss the cherry blossoms.

I'm planning on a trip to Japan at some point in 2009. This year I am heading to Venice and maybe a short trip to the homeland (Croatia) in the Fall.
If anyone meets up anywhere be sure to take some pics and post them to the Forums!

Yeah that'd be awesome! We'll be leaving around July/August in '09, so I'd guess we'd be in Japan in December - it's the last country we're going to.

I see. So it's safe to presume you're living around the Siglap/East Coast area, which is 15 mins away

Haha, I don't think so. To me, it's poetic =) I hope to make a trip to Japan soon as well... as soon as I learn the language.

You know, maybe we can all meet up somewhere in Japan 2009! It would be our own Shinkai Expo! Venice is on one of my to-go locations as well. And with Nick going there in around the same time, hmm the possibilities are there.

I'd be up for a night on the town in Tokyo. It'd be cool to meet some familiar people after spending so long on the road.
Heh... I like the sound of that - "on the road". You know what else I like the sound of? "Crossing the border into Cambodia".
Oh man I need to stop daydreaming and finish this major work (It's due friday!  ).
