I like subs more than dubs in every single anime I've ever seen, with the exception of Hayao Miyazaki's movies. I like the subs and the dubs the same in those.

I don't like to say one or the other. It's all about quality. You could have so many choices with voices, whether it be Japanese, English or otherwise, and only the right voice can match that character. One bad voice ruins the whole thing. Life experience tells you to go one route. Economical judgment has you go another. I like to watch a series in Japanese, then depending on how I enjoyed it (the series as a whole, not just the voices) I will buy it, watch in English, then make a deciding factor. So I honestly don't have my say on this matter.

For me, the whole sub vs dub debate falls down to something as simple as this. I'll always watch the movie/series/OVA in both sub and dub. Either way doesn't matter much, I'll always watch the dub at least once. In a way, it's honoring those who spent the time and money to bring over the anime. If I don't like the dub, I'll watch the sub, if I don't like the sub, I'll watch the dub. If I don't like either of them, I'll just watch what's available as the default setting.

In the end, I think I end up watching the dub more than the sub, but not entirely on my choice. I have a rather large anime collection, several of my friends prefer dub, and when they come over to watch, it's usually watched in dub. The same goes with watching anime with my dad. It's not necessarily because he prefers dubs or subs over the other. I choose to watch it in dub because of it'll be easier with him, although that depends on the color of text and size of the text on the subs. If I think they are good enough, we'll watch it in sub.

Then there's also the part about if I like a particular voice actor/actress. Then I'll definitely end up watching the anime in the language that has a voice actor/actress that I love.
