Nick: Crumbling old lighthouses = awesome. (Blackmail and sailor flesh, not so much. )
Junpei: I don't think I'd be happy to have a Death Note. In fact, I'd probably panic and get stressed out and paranoid about it. Until I remembered the fire-place. :p
Unrelated: Having a Death Note seems like having a gun and a fool-proof alibi. But just because you can kill someone without fear of retribution, doesn't mean everyone will.

Yes I see, but I meant having the Death Note would make a person "happy" or excited in even the smallest bit some way knowing you have control over such power.
I just remembered from the anime, Death Notes cannot be burnt by fire, hmmm... |

I think I understand what you're saying now.
About DN's not being able to be burned: Ha ha, they wouldn't make it that easy, would they? xD
In the end, I think (or at least I hope) I would get rid of the Death Note instead of using it. Bury it or something. |

Don't know if it's just me but I think there is no justification whatsoever to having such power, especially for yourself.
My final line is why should we have the power to kill out lives? Every single life lost is every single memory lost. If someone wanted to die, that is their own choice, not ours. |

I think the other side to that is, what if something happened and by killing one person you could save other, innocent people? Like, what if there was a serial killer running on the loose murdering people, and the police couldn't catch him? (That happened in a city in Arizona not too long ago, I believe.) Or what if there was a dictator that was killing people by the hundreds?
(Edit: Tens of thousands? Wow, that's a lot of people. :O )

^ Who could say no to that? I know that every life is precious, but still... Saving thousands of innocent people or sparing the life of a criminal? It's hard to pick the latter. _________________ Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most. |

Junpie, right now I couldnt see justification but I think our minds are a little weak in a way. Haveing such power, I feel would at last force me to reconize I have this power, and think about this power. -I do alot of thinking-
Maybe in a way I would go insane? Idk.. just a thought. _________________ You know your old when, you reapeat things... you repeat things... you repeat things. |

To add onto what Phantast said -cool to see you back Phantast!-
Picture this lets say you end up do killing such a criminal. Your mind would start to ease the justification into killing others? I say this because a death note in a way makes it an extremly "convenient" way of killing someone.
One little tip I read from someone was if you want to draw "Make it as convenient for you as you can to draw" This will in turn kind of nudge you to draw since, it's so "convenient".
It's kind of like "I can kill people so "conveniently" why not?" As cruel as that sounds hehe.. _________________ You know your old when, you reapeat things... you repeat things... you repeat things. |

It's like when I feel like playing some music - my guitar is always sitting there, completely ready to go - nothing to set up, whereas my saxophone is in the case - disassembled. I know which one I, without fail, will pick up.
Hmm... not sure where I'm going with this. Convenience - that's it!
