Definitely good ideas.

I got in touch with Sai today and his board is voting on which weekend to have the event. So I'll post the same here. I had thought that Mach 4th was on a weekend, but it's not Sad

Anyway ... I'm asking him if he or someone from his group could help out with the site design.

Graphics Request .....

For those of you with creative ability ...

I'd like a banner that is essentially an image from each of Shinkai's works, with some text "Global Shinkai Day 2009: This world, we think we like it."

Anyone up for that ?

Silly question, but... is the banner size supposed to be the same with the one on the forum?

The banner size could be the same size or smaller ... nothing huge.

I couldn't fit any pic from Voices of a Distant Star (truth be told, I actually forgot), but the problem is that it's basically impossible to fit in that many pictures plus a readable title in such a small banner.. Anyway, here's my attempt:

I for one think its looks excellent. You might increase the font size for "Global Shinkai Day 2009."
