I remember getting the manga after the first time I watched the anime. It filled in a lot of details. I found Mizu Sahara's (not her real name) website and left a message saying how much I liked her artwork. I left my email address, but never heard back. The website didn't look like it had been updated in quite awhile.

Edit: I might add that I got it through justmanga.com. Strangely enough, they didn't have the anime at the time. I had ordered that through amazon.
