I think I've gone a bit evil.

That trailer seems more like a fandub comedy rather than a love/drama the more I watch it. (*tries to keep the offense to a minimum*) Twisted Evil

Ahem. But that aside, does anyone know if the voice-actors from that trailer the ones voicing the American version of the movie?

I wonder why they changed "cherry blossoms." to "flowers falling from tree's"

They're not allowed to do that are they?

Dubs are made so people can understand what is spoken. If they changed names and stuff like that, it'd be almost like they've stolen the film and added their own things on it.

It's licensed so I think they can do what ever they want with the voices and translations.

Yeah... I've seen anime "Americanized" before. In the anime "Case Closed," for example, they changed "Shin'ichi" to "Jimmy" and "Ran" to "Racheal".

Hopefully that won't be the case with 5 Centimeters.

I saw a trailer for "Place Promised" and in the movie where Hiroki says that the two things he and his friend were interested in were Sayuri and the tower .... they change that to something like a girl and flying. I hate that Sad

I definitely need to get a DVD version with the English Dub, but I'm going to wait for the BluRay version ... otherwise I'll have three copies of the movie Smile

The release date for 5 CM has been delayed, the new date is sometime between March 19 and April 8. Just a little longer, patience...
