I ordered my from animenation.com on march 5th and got the ADV version with sub's and dub's, plus extras. I take back saying i got it from amazon in one of my posts, i remember trying to order it there, but there was none in stock at the time. It seems they still have them in stock.

Hows the dub compared to the sub?

I think different people will have different opinions on the dubbed version so you can't really decide until you've heard it for yourself unless you're just wanting to know their thoughts.

I hope it's not the voices in the trailer, it did not seem to fit.

Hi Chobi .... what is your opinion on the Dub vs. Sub ?

to be honest im kind of a dub guy to start with, but i also like subs too, i tend to watch movies in both.
But so far ive only watched 5 cm in the dubbed, and i really liked it. I have seen the other works in subbed and dubbed and liked them both. ADV realed in some good voice actors for the dubbed version like hilary haag for Akari, and ive been a fan of her works like in chrono crusade, noir. The voice actor for tono is David Matranga and he has been in works like chevalier d'on which i also like, and gilgamesh, elfen lied, and the new appleseed. Kanea is pretty new to the scene, but i think it gives her that good amatuer feel, like a young girl unsure of what she wants which fits perfect. Overall im pleased with ADV's selection

That's good to here but ill have to see it I guess, I usually prefer subs, but ill show my family the dub haha.

How would you compare the quality to Voices of a Distant Star's dub?

i think that the voice actors in 5cm were a lot better thanvthe ones in voices.
