Great, IsUa. Looking forward to it.

I finally got through the planning stages on mine and begun to piece together the clips.

It's been a bit aggravating, but I'm learning to use iSkysoft's DVD ripper. It's Trim step has been like threading a needle.

Here are two different options for inserting video clips into iMovie, after you've inserted your song in the audio track:

Option #1. From the starting point, insert each clip one behind the other, trim where needed, then position each where you want it to start (this is my preferred method). Otherwise, each time you insert a new clip, it will push the ones behind it out of place.

Option #2. Split your audio at the place where you want a clip to start, insert and position the clip there, then in the Advanced menu, select the Lock Audio feature to lock it in place. That way as you insert others, you won't have to keep re-positioning the previous one. (This method has its advantages and disadvantages.)

Gleowine: It seems to me that Windows Movie maker (WMM), is somehow less dificult to starters...I'm not having trouble with this, the problem is that it's litle advanced...I saw great AMVs...made with other programs...I'm in the process of finding the best programs for making AMV. (I'll post later)

But I think, that one must learn first...and then go to more advanced programs (That's my opinion)...

I can help With WMM...other programs, sorry but I can't...

And on as far as programmes are concerned, if you can, I'd use windows movie maker. It's simple enough for beginners and offers plenty of features for most AMVs. Unless your going to try something ridiculously flash.

Thanks for the tip, Isua and Maltos. But simply put, I hate Windows. That's why I got a Mac, after 10 years of cursing at a PC. (I use a PC at work, but only because I have to.)

Actually, I've been using iMovie for a few years now. I wasn't having a problem with it, just pointing out a little bump in the road that needs watching.

For me, seems like the most difficult in making AMV. To make this need to use something (like Adobe Photoshop)...I hate Photoshop Mad

So Gleowine, when you find a little time...I'd like to see a brief explanation about your AMV...

How much time it took...What programs you use...what was your idea from the begining...if you were happy with the result...etc...
