Heh, maybe if we want to discus this topic further we should make a thread?
I don't belive in any conspiracy but like anyone else if your mind wants to figure something out but don't have enough facts. It's hard not to start filling in the blanks with fiction that seems real.
Hey I do this alot though, expetually with people. If I feel something is up with them but I have no facts, I tend to push them into giveing me the facts...

As for Welcome to the NHK .... I felt it started off strong and then kind of lost me. I started reading the manga just to see if there was something I was missing and I'll probably keep doing that. I seem to shift over to manga versions of things after a while just to try to get some the detail that I know gets left out of the anime versions of things.
Hmmm .. conspiracy .... the truth is out there.

| Does anyone know that there is a live action version of Grave Of The Fireflies? I really want to watch it and see if it's as good as the anime. |

Yeah, I saw an article on Anime News Network about a live-action version. I haven't read the article yet, though.
EDIT: The link to the article is here. |

| I'm halfway through the movie and already its working on me. You realise how rich and how lucky you are compared to millions of refugees and extremely poor civilians. Even a tiny bite to eat is counted as gracious. I think we city-dwellers should take the time to reflect all this and be more concious of what we do or take for granted. |

Hard to decide on a favorite, so I'll write up what first comes to mind in different categories with episode counts around these, OVAs, 13 ep series, 26 ep series, 39 ep series, etc. I could go on for a long time with this one.
OVAs and movies - Gunsmith Cats, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Petite Cossette,
13 ep series - Haibane Renmei, Victorian Romance Emma (both 13 ep series are wonderful I think), Starship Operators
26 ep series - R.O.D. The TV, Neon Genesis Evangelion, Planetes, School Rumble (both 26 episode series I like), Utawarerumono
39 ep series - Revolutionary Girl Utena
Longer series - Magic Knight Rayearth (46 eps I think), You're Under Arrest! (51 eps+movie, that's all that's released in the US), Twelve Kingdoms (46 I think), Cardcaptor Sakura (70 eps+2 movies) |
