Could be my favorite of all. The story telling is brilliant and the visuals are stunning (can't we say that about all of Mr. Shinkai's movies ^-^ ? )
More to come here.

I walked into 5 Cm about half way through the second story and I had no clue what was going on ha ha ha ...I tried to follow along and I saw the visuals and was sold then
My favorite part of Voices would have to be the end That both of them are thinking the same thing ... and having the feeling that they will meet again one day.
"I am here" ... that's kind of haunting to me now. Very powerful statement in itself.

| I've read from somewhere (hell knows...this is the internet) that they both meet again later on because Mikako does not die. But then again like I said, it is the internet... |

Yes, time, space and distance are all beyond difficult to fully understand.
Oh and with what admin said, the statement of "I am here" (Koko ni iru) at the end was the most haunting thing to me in that story. That is something I can not forget, simple words of deep meaning.
To be honest, I actually cried after that... I couldn't sleep peacefully the night after I've watched Voices. Those words, so deep and so sad.
This was also one of the reasons I have started my interests in human life, and psychology. |

I have been thinking of getting that line, in Japanese as a tattoo. Just one of those things that kind of hits you.
Good stuff

| Excellent idea. A permanent tattoo with those words. I'll try and make one myself, problem is I dunno where in my body to put it. |

Putting the tattoo on the waist and under seems to pretty rude for such a powerful statement. Somewhere on the head would be kind of weird, and I don't think the chest or back would be that nice.
I'm thinking maybe on the upper arm like most people do. Or perhaps a little lower... Dunno.
Then another question comes up, How do I get/make such a tattoo? The words aren't difficult but the substances needed for it to be made into a tattoo is the problem.
