I think I got the chords in the first bar....
That's really about it. I need to transcode it to a better format to learn from, truthfully... |

I went back and looked through my notes for the essay on Temnon. I had written out the melody but not the chords. So I listened to the DVD and came up with the following. I'm not a guitar playing, so I don't know how these should be fingered. But here goes. Hope you can decipher my notation.
ONE MORE TIME, ONE MORE CHANCE
1st VERSE
A A(#5) D Dm/B A A(#5) D Dm/B
2nd VERSE
C#m7/G# F#m Bm F/A C#m7 F#m Bm F/A
CHORUS
A A7/G# C#m7(b5)/G F#7 Bm Bm/A# D/A E (REPEAT 1 TIME)
TRANSITION
Em7/G Em7/G A A Em7/G G
BRIDGE
F G Am G Am/F# F G Esus4 E
CHORUS
A A7/G# C#m7(b5)/G F#7 Bm Bm/A# D/A E (REPEAT 5 TIMES)
CLOSING
Em7/G Em7/G A A Em7/G Em7/G A A Em7/G Em7/G
TAG
A A(#5) D Dm/B A |

I did a search for Tsuki to Kyabetsu (The Moon and The Cabbage). Amazon (US) doesn't have it. Haven't checked with amazon.jp yet. The only place currently selling it online is Yesasia.com, and only the Japanese version is available.
It stars Masayoshi Yamazaki who wrote the song. The story synopsis has elements similar to those from 5 CM: a guy who has lost something from his childhood; a girl he meets who is a big fan of his (sound like Kanae?); she may actually be the ghost of the one he lost (sort of like Takaki's dreams of the "mystery girl" in Story #2).
Here's the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8WJYeRWoFKY |

| BTW, you might notice that one of the scenes from the trailer, the guy and girl sitting on a grassy hillside, looks strikingly familiar. |

Oh I learned the song. It's mostly just fingerpicked bar chords. The intro part with the Asus is the best. _________________ There are certain moments where some people should just be left unknown. |

That's true haha, you just have to listen to a few more vidoes on the song whenever you begin one.
Sadly, it'll probably be available to purchase online mostly as it's an old movie. |

True. Though I've been trying to learn this part with my acoustic guitar, which has some very stiff string and insanely high action (great sound when ringing out the standard A, E, C, D chords, but extremely difficult when it comes to bar chords). Then again, it also makes the acoustic a really good one to learn on, then I fly on my electric...
Thank gleowine; your notation helped cleared up something for me and encouraged me really figure out the song. Still spotty at points, especially since I haven't been keeping up too well with guitar playing since high school...
Now I got some blisters on my left hand fingers to nurse...
