yes this could indeed work, for us to understand that Takaki did finally move on...
Except, in my point of view...what better way to see that he moved on, that a after shot...he chatting or walking animatedly with Akari (and why not with her fiancé also), they stay friends (after all they had a beautiful past)... and after, another shot...he phones to Riza, and we se her Tears of Joy (cause he tells her that he's back for real).
That's my point of view...I believe that for a person forget a old (first) love, there as to be a confrontation/conversation (face to face), or else her ghost will always be near

Hehe, this sounds fun. I think I'll give it a try after I finish up another project that's kept me busy. I've always thought about this, so I think I can come up with something good. My friends like my writing style as it reminds them of this movie, and I'd also be able to share it with everyone on here to see if they'd like it. The stuff I put up in my writing thread isn't all that recent. The stuff I currently write is down to earth and vivid.
