Speaking of persons who resemble anime characters, the teacher of my Sunday school class is very much a middle-aged version of Mikuru Asahina from MoHS (though not as well-endowed). Even though she's a good friend, I've refrain from telling her this, simply because she just wouldn't get it.

WOW ... a middle aged version of Mikuru. Does she shoot beams from her eyes?
I need to go to that Sunday school _________________ You're a woman, I'm a calf ... you're a window, I'm a knife ... we come together making chance into starlight ... - Jeff Buckley

| Well, she has a unique sense of fashion at times, and the style of her reading glasses do make them look as though they could pack lasers. |

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.

I had a chat with some people and they were saying this anime film is better than 5 CM as it contains a "slice of life" also. I must see this. |

The Girl Who Leapt Through Time is definitely an excellent anime, and I can easily see why people might like it better than 5 CM (I think TGWLTT has much better mainstream appeal than 5 CM, among other qualities). I do hope that it is released in the U.S. on DVD at some point soon, though.
