I liked the story way more then any of Makoto Shinkai's stuff. I just felt more in Shinkai's stuff.

| I LOVED IT! That was the best movie apart from 5 CM I have ever seen. The story like you said Menasha was way better than any of Shinkai's, very true to me. What made it so good I think is the "slice of life." It was a very delicate slice alright. It's just that Shinkai has more insight in his animations. 10/10. A must see! |

| Just started watching Elfen Lied. I had expected it to be something totally different, turns out it is somehow similar to DearS. Very interesting. |

Where did you see TGWLTT ? They don't seem to have it at Amazon
I've been reading Elfin Lied and just ordered the DVDs. I like it so far ... but definitely not what I had expected. _________________ You're a woman, I'm a calf ... you're a window, I'm a knife ... we come together making chance into starlight ... - Jeff Buckley

Laz, I watched The Girl Who Leapt Through Time online, in Veoh.com
Elfen Lied was great, but the ending ruined it. |

I've been waiting for The Girl Who Leapt Through Time to come out on DVD. Someone give the heads-up if they see a place with it on sale.
I've tried veoh before. Unfortunately, I don't yet have high-speed out here in the sticks. (Sticks = southern US slang for way-out-in-the-country) I'm so 20th-century, y'all. |

I now regret not buying The Girl Who Leapt Through Time a couple months back. It's probably out of stock or taken down for new releases.
Started watching the anime Sola (or Sora meaning Sky) which is a drama about the sky and taking photos. ^^ |

Is it just called Sola? Or Sora or what?
A quick search yielded no results...and it sounds really interesting! |

The anime is named Sola but I'm sure they changed the "r" to a "l" to make to "look better".
Are you sure you searched properly? Simply go to Google and type in "sola anime" where you can find it straight away in wikipedia. |

I wasn't all that thrilled with the ending of Elfin Lied, but how can you not like girls with horns growing out of their heads and invisible killing hands
The manga goes on way past where the anime did and is much better.
Right now I've been watching Macross 7, Lucky Star and Macross Frontier. I'll be headed to Gurren Laagan next. So much anime ... so little time
