I watched Cencoroll last night ... pretty cool concept and good story for a half hour. Definitely check it out.

Watched up to episode 4 of Kazemakase Tsukikage Ran.  Looks to start episodic and seemed to have been lost in the shuffle of many great anime series in 2000.  Looks to be a fun one.

I did learn one thing: Do NOT get between a Samurai and her sake.  Bad things will happen.

I've just began watching Lucky Star recently. The entire feel and pace of the show is completely new to me so it was a little difficult to adjust. Episode one seemed to drag a bit with dry jokes but ep two seems to be picking up. I have hopes for it though. Wish me luck. Razz

The series really picks up around episode 5.

I think Junpei just wants to check out the shrine maidens. Wink

Have a Lucky Star, Junpei! Hope you enjoy! Very Happy

(Personally, I'm a Miyuki fanboy, myself.)

I think a little of the pace from the first few shows is a result of the manga being of the 3 or 4 panel variety, so there's no so much flow of story as small 3 or 4 panel snippets. It definitely does pull together nicely. I had the same feelings when I started watching it and I was happy that I stuck with it and watched the entire series.

Ohaa lucky!! It does pick up indeed Koji. And I love the background art - how some bits are detailed and some are nicely simple. Smile

Hulu is currently playing the English dub version of Spring and Chaos (based on the Kenji Miyazawa book that Hiroki is reading in The Place Promised)

Also, I decided to rewatch Lucky Star, since Junpei brought it up. I guess one of my favorite episodes is #6 - Fixtures of Summer. Tsukasa and the sea shell is a classic. Very Happy

Speaking of Lucky Star, does anyone know where I can find the image of the Lucky Star cast as the characters from Clannad? I've seen this image before, but I can't remember where. Did a search in google but with no results. I hope I wasn't just dreaming this.
