Let's face it, we all at some point lied about what music we like in order to look cooler in front of other people. So, have any of you ever refrained from admitting that you like a certain song or artist?
I used to like some Backstreet Boys songs since they were catchy, but thankfully I don't anymore.. I love listening to a type of Jazz, but I doubt I'll get around at telling any of my friends about it, dammit, I can just see their what-the-fudge-is-wrong-with-you faces. >_> |

| There was this song back in the 70's called "Troglydite" about a caveman looking for a woman. Back then, we all listened to it repeatedly and thought it was the coolest thing. Now, I look back and think, "that was the stupidest song ever." |

Some of the first cds are bought were pretty horrendous. I mean to cut me some slack I was like 10 at the time. Still, i I thought it pretty cool to buy the Hapsterdance single, the Baha Men album, and the Eiffel 65 album...
Oh god... so lame...
I swear I'm much cooler now. But I tend to not care what other people think so much anymore. I've accepted that there's things I'll do or say that will make some people think I'm stupid, but I know that there are also a lot of people who would agree with me, and that everyone has these moments. It's liberating, I've gotta say. |

| I've never really been embarrassed by the types of music or particular songs that I listen to. Probably the closest I can think of is the song We Were Lovers, the intro song for the anime series Gankutsuou. I can't stand Jean-Jacques Burnel's singing, but I do love the piano melody. I use it as a bit of torture for some of my friends, they share my dislike for Burnel's vocals in that song. |

| Not really embaraseed but I love, Bad Touch. Can't realyl think of a song I'm embarassed to say I like. Funny thing yesterday though, ater months of thinkg "Don't Worry, Be Happy" was a Bob Marley song, someone let me know it wasnt =) I then compaired it to a Bob Marley song and noticed the singers sounded completly different heh! Oh boy.. |

Embarrassed to say this but a few years back I thought that Ricky Martin's "Livin' la Vida Loca" was really catchy. I used to fool around dancing on it. And even now, if I hear it at the radio, I tend to start fidgeting. Can't believe myself...
As for the old stuff, about 7 years ago I was quite interested in that boy band, Blue (no, my nickname has no connection to it whatsoever), with songs like "One Love" and "All Rise" and other similar stuff. I guess it was natural; I was in 6th grade and simply had to secretly drool over posters of boys with pretty faces. [Talking about Backstreet Boys, Janny.]
Thankfully I cured myself quite quickly, but looking back now, I get the chills. There were some really disturbing bands in my childhood... |

Nothing wrong with boy bands! Me and my friends used to go camping and crank up Backstreet Boys really loud. Along with other favorites like Dido or Savage Garden, Bon Jovi, Journey. Oh man we had some epic singalongs.
OK so this was like a month ago haha. |
