At the Naruto panel I attended lots of folks were happy to see that Sasuke was finally getting his butt kicked by someone. Sasuke has been pretty much invulnerable in the series until now.
I was surprised to see that the 8 tail could break the Sharingan ... maybe that's something that Naruto can learn when he finally has his fight with Sasuke.

At the start of the series actaully Sasuke had his ass handed to him alot. Naruto began to out due him, I think this is partly the reason he left Konoha in search of power.
It wasnt Tsukuyomi that Sasuke put on the 8 tails just a regular genjutsu, so as the 8 tails just needed another to break the genjutsu -the tailed beast-
Don't forget Itachi gave Nartuo some powers to battle Sasuke with in the instance Madara got to him and was succesful. -Which he was- I think Sasuke's part in the story is actaully comeing to and end soon. He's going to die in next year or so.
