I don't think you can compare them.

Voices was voiced by Shinkai and his fiancee and 5 CM had a group of experienced voice actors.

Then there's the other version of Voices:

There are two versions of this Anime; The original director's version, where the main characters are voiced by the director and his fiancee, and the Voice Actor's Version, where the main characters are voiced by a professional voice actor and actress.

I think he was talking about the english voice actors. As well Voices was voices by professionals just at the beginning it was Shinkai and his fiancee.

well laz the blueray is worth waiting for : )

it i got it a few days ago and have watched only about 25 mins so far because i have exams coming up next week but the extra resolution makes this movie really shine. also the colors are better too more Rich. if you don't already have a buleray drive you can get china brand combo HD dvd and bleuray drives pretty cheap. now about $200. it is worth it if you are willing to spend the money.

Also does any one know if voices and for beyone the clouds are coming out on HD DVD or blueray?

Where did you order your bluray version from ?

I've got a PS3 for a BluRay player. The only BlueRay movies I've seen on it are 300 and the latest Appleseed movie.

What types of extra's are in the BluRay release?

Goodness these posts are old --- right now its difficult to even get your hands on the 5 Centimeters Per Second DVD.

I completely agree haha. They're all either out of print or out of stock unless if you can find some to order online. I prefer not to rely on the Internet for such important issues.

I checked Amazon in the US and it's being sold through resellers for between 30-40 USD.
