I started re-reading Death Note yesterday and I realized just how much I've gotten attached to L and his quirks. He's a genius detective with a craving for sweets so, to me, he's probably the most weird and interesting manga character ever made. Almost makes me wonder how freaky I'd act if he were real XD
So, are there any manga characters that you guys have gotten attached to? _________________ Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.
I dont read manga very often, so I have no special character....
I watched the anime of death note, very good I think. L is brilliant! Although he didnt win, he collected a lot of information for N. Without L's effort, N would never defeat Yagami. I just wonder how can a man be that wise!

Hmmmm .. manga characters ... I really like Nodame from Nodame Cantable ... I read the manga first and though it was great. I like Krauser from DMC ... manga is just as funny as the anime. Totally love Alpha from Yokohama Kadasha kikou (-1 sp).

Yeah, I like Nodame, too, though I've only read as far as Vol. #2.
I have to say my most favorite is Tohru Honda from Fruits Basket. She's a cute girl with a lot of heart and determination, despite being a bumbling idiot at times.

Has anyone seen the 3rd Death Note live movie? (L: Change the world) It wasn't too bad and the best part was you get to see the beginning of N at the end.
I haven't read many manga so I have limited choices in picking a favourite character. Mainly just the works of Mizuki Kawashita, a couple other manga and Naruto. Speaking of Naruto, perhaps I should pick it from where I last was. It's been a while.

Let's see, I like all of the main characters in Gunsmith Cats. They just mesh together so well that if one was gone, there would be just too big of a hole to fill by the others. Although I know that it's true for all stories, it's just that I feel that with Gunsmith Cats, it just seems more apparent.
Although somewhat of a minor character, Aya Sawada from Kare Kano is another one I love. It might just be the similarities of character between hers and mine. Both writers, both have a tendency to analyze others to suite a particular story. There were other similarities, but I'll just leave it at that.
At the moment, the only other characters that I like that I can think of are Yomiko Readman and Nenene Sumiregawa from the 4 volume manga series R.O.D (Read Or Die).
Yomiko is a paper master, someone who can use paper as an extra power. Like using a bunch to form a large paper airplane to fly, making a paper shield to block bullets, and even use each sheet as a weapon.
Nenene is a high schooler who really liked Yomiko, is a very loyal friend, a young author, and amazingly aggressive in her methods when she is working on a story.
