Shinkai updated his blog on Oct 13, and I finished the translation on Oct 14.
Hope he will give us more information about the new film next time.

I am doing well these days. I think you are busy with you examine now.
wish you do your best in the examine 
Maybe shinkai will update his blog month later. i just wondering what he will present us in the new movie. His experience in the past two years would influence the new film, i think. |

Yeah I've done two exams and I have four left. Next one is on thursday - Maths :O
And yeah I think Shinkai will be extremely influenced by his recent experiences - might make for a few surprises for us Shinkai fans

How did I miss this thread? *smacks self*
It's really entertaining to read, Shinkai-san puts a poetic feel in everything he writes, but I'm a bit confused about something - why does he mention that he goes to school in the first entry? I'm guessing he visits them or something..

I think he's taking English classes there. That might be what he means by going to school.

Actually, shinkai' English is fairly poor. He said he couldn't answer questions in English in the interview.
But I don't think he went to England just for learning English. Different life experience is the thing he is looking for, maybe.
hope he has found some inspires and will bring some news factors to his next film.
