The last couple days i've been paying a lot more attention to Shinkai's shorter works and the obvious two that have really stuck out this time around are She and Her Cat & Other Worlds.

I just hope some time in the future Shinkai takes the time to revisit his old black and white animation style. Just to compare how he would do it now would be nice and i still think he has the knack for short touching stories.

Would you guys like to see more are you the majority of you more a fan of his coloured shorts?
And obviously, d'you reckon theres a chance he might make another one?

I would love to see more black and white "shorts" from Shinkai-sensei. But of course, I'll take whatever I can get. From his track record I'm guessing he's always going to be creating shorts .. at least I hope so Smile

And I also agree with Laz, I really would love to see more new black and white shorts. They have an amazing effect.

i'd love to see a new b&w from makoto shinkai, specially to see how he does black & white with the higher production values that he can now afford.

I am a big fan of his black and white works, which gives them more of a sense of being "in" the anime than what colour ever does for other such projects.
