Osamu Tezuka's Buddha manga. I love it, though later in the series it's getting more preachy than I'd like.

Right now I'm about 2 1/2 inches into Azumanga Daioh Omnibus Edition.
I can say now that I prefer the anime to the manga for preserving the original content. Don't get me wrong, I'm loving every page of it; I just wish they hadn't gone and tried to americanize stuff, especially the lines from Osaka's stand-up routines. Like where "That's not grains of truth, that's the truth about grains" got turned into "That's not trivia, it's just plain trivial." _________________

I finally got around to the Ghost in the Shell manga. Not quite what I expected, but I liked it a lot. I liked some of the comical moments and the insane amount of author's notes. _________________ I have opinions, opinions on things |

Now that Monster is on Syfy and I've gotten deep into Master Keaton, I'm continuing my thread and reading Pluto. _________________ You're a woman, I'm a calf ... you're a window, I'm a knife ... we come together making chance into starlight ... - Jeff Buckley

I guess I'm the odd one out here for not reading Manga.
I'm am currently reading through the bibliography of Edgar Allan Poe, and I must say his complete mastery of rhythm and meter in poetry is truly spectacular, and I find his short stories to be marvellously singular in their creativity and depth.
