Hey Folks ... The last couple of Seasons have been a bit of a disappointment.
Some of these shows are coming out now.
Added to my list ...
- Hyaka Ryoran: Samuri Girls: I saw the first episode of this and I liked the different art style. Very catchy. It's got some ecchi overtones ... we'll see how it goes.
- Arakawa Under the Bridge 2: I liked the first season. Very quirky and odd. Fun bunch of characters. Looking forward to what's next.
- Bakuman: LOVE the manga. Love it. I hope they don't screw up the anime.
- Sora no Otoshimono: The first season was ok. I couldn't really tell where it was going. I haven't read the anime so ... I'll check this out and see if it gets better.
- A Certain Magical Index 2: I liked A Certain Railgun ... not sure if they are referring to that or if there was a Magical Index Season 1. I guess I'll have to look that one up.
- Tempted to watch Shinryaku! Ika Musume ... something about a squid girl that draws my interest.
What are you adding to your list?

First impressions so far ...
Bakuman - Absolutely LOVE the manga ... not really thrilled about the anime. I watched half of the first episode and was not enthoused. Definitely check it out maybe I'm just biased to the manga.
Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls - Havent seen the second episode yet but I am anxiously awaiting it. Loved the style of drawing and the story seemed pretty cool.
Otome Yokai Zakuro - I watched this the other night and I liked it enough to add it to my list. Spirits and humans join forces, create a mixed group to further understanding and .. you can guess the rest.
Sora no Otoshimono: forte - I'm all for some good old fashioned ecchi humor but I was actually hoping for some kind of story movement. Not much here so this is most likely dropping off my list.
What are your opinions so far?
Also ... another series I marathoned through last week ... Amagami SS ... based on a dating sim game. I actually liked it a lot. They go through 3 story arcs (4 episodes per arc) and each arc revolves around the protagonists relationship with one of the female characters. NOt overly ecchi and a decent "sweetness" factor. You like the characters and you get to see their relationship progress. Anyway ... what do you think?

Nothing had really caught my interest this year. I'll probably check out Ironman and a couple of the sequels (Index II and Sora no Otoshimono), but I've been using this time to catch up on older shows (current watching Emma, probably see Hunter x Hunter) from Netflix.
Looks like I'll be letting others do the screening for me this season... _________________ Akari: “And we thought…”

Since my reduced anime watching schedule left me a little bored, I decided to try a few other anime out ...
Squid Girl - I like this one It's funny, cute .. kinda mindless but I do look forward to each new release.
My Little Sister Can't be that cute - I reluctantly watched this as I expected tons of fan service and moe-ness. I was actually surprised. The story revolves around a girl who appears to be the most non-otaku person as possible (popular, good grades, very social, athletic, etc.) who actually is a pretty hard core otaku. Her brother finds her secret and helps her comes to terms with her acceptance of her otaku nature. There have been some hints at fan service, but nothing over so far.
Anyway ... what have you folks been watching ?

I think the only shows I saw all the way hrough this Fall were ...
Oriemo - Not what I had expected. Actually pretty good.
Shinryaku! Ikamusume - Fun and light and interesting. My wife was mocking me as I lamented poor Ikamusume had lost her squid powers. "She's an anime!" ... yes I know, but she's also a poor misunderstood Squid Girl.
Hyaka Ryorin: Samurai Girls - I stuck with this as the story was decent and I liked the style of the anime.
Arakawa Under the Bridge 2 - Whats not to love there.
Otomo Yokai Zakuro - Good characters, good story ... definitely worth the watch.
